BY - LAW NO. 3067
A BY-LAW to appoint certain Municipal Officers
under Section 8, 228(1) and 286(1) and of the Municipal Act, 2001 S.O. 2001, Chapter
25 and the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, 1997 S.O. 1997 Chapter 4 under Section
2(2) and Section 6.
WHEREAS, it is necessary and expedient to appoint Municipal
Officers of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Tillsonburg as follows:
1. THAT:
(a) MICHAEL GRAVES, be hereby appointed Director of Corporate
Services and Clerk.
(b) DARRELL ED-DINGTON, be hereby appointed Director of Finance
and Treasurer.
(c) ROBERT PARSONS, be hereby appointed Fire Chief and Community
Emergency Management Coordinator.
2. THIS By -Law is passed pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001 S.O.
2001, Chapter 25, Sections 228(l) and 286 (1) and the Fire
Protection and Prevention Act, 1997 S.O. 1997 Chapter 4 under
Section 2(2) and Section 6.
4. Any previously enacted By -Laws which are inconsistent with the
purpose and intent of this By -Law are hereby repealed.
5. This By -Law shall come into full force and effect upon enactment.
READ a FIRST, SECOND and THIRD TIME, PASSED, SIGNED, SEALED and
NUMBERED 3 0 6 7 this 8th day of September, 2003.
