BY-LAW NO. 3847
A BY-LAW to amend By-Law 3712, being a by-law to appoint Directors to the Board of
Management of the Tillsonburg Business Improvement Area (BIA).
WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg passed By-Law 3712 to appoint Directors to the
BIA on February 28, 2013;
AND WHEREAS Section 204(3) of the Municipal Act, S.O. 2001 Chapter 25 provides that the
Board of Management for the improvement area shall be composed of one or more directors
appointed by the municipality and the remaining directors selected by a vote of the membership of
the improvement area and appointed by the municipality;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg enacts
as follows:
THAT Laura Magashazi be hereby appointed as a director to the Board of Management until the first day of
January 2015 or until her successor is appointed.
THAT the amendment to By-Law 3712 is hereby declared to be part of that By-Law as if written therein.
