THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG
A BY -LAW to authorize the sale ofland to Erica Patenaude and Arron Pattyn.
WHEREAS pursuant to Section 8 of the Municipal Act,2001, S.O. 2001, C.25, a municipality
has the capacity, rights, powers and privileges of a natural person for the purpose of exercising
its authority under this or any other Act, ;
AND WHEREAS The Corporation ofthe Town ofTillsonburg has agreed to sell certain lands,
being Block A, Registered Plan M-60, in the Town ofTillsonburg in the County of Oxford, as
described in the Agreement of Purchase and Sale attached as Schedule "A" to this by-law;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town ofTillsonburg has determined
that the said lands are surplus to the needs of the Corporation and should be sold;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town ofTillsonburg enacts as follows:
1. THAT the Council of the Town ofTillsonburg does hereby authorize the conveyance of
lands described as Block A, Registered Plan M-60, in the Town ofTillsonburg, in the
County of Oxford, as described in the Agreement of Purchase and Sale attached as
Schedule "A" to this by-law;
2. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be hereby authorized and instructed to perform all acts and
take such steps and execute such documents under the seal of the Corporation as may be
necessary to effect such a conveyance of said land.
