REPORT
Monday, November 26, 1979 -9:00 P.M.
Present: Mayor Armstrong, Councillors -Webster, Miggens, Story,
Ferrie, Bromley, 'Unsworth and Linton.
The Executive Committee recommends to Council as follows:
1. After review with C. J. Demeyere of tenders received for con-
struction items in the area of Elgin, Queen, Harris Streets,
that C. J. Demeyere be instructed to prepare Local Improvement
Report with respect to construction of the sanitary sewers.
2. After review of the communications from D. Gibson, of Gibson,
Linton & Toth regarding negotiations with Tillsonburg Dairies
Ltd. (Councillor Linton left the meeting during discussion),
the Committee recommends:
(a) that Egerton & Associates -update appraisal of the
property of Tillsonburg Dairies Ltd;
(b) that Egerton & Associates prepare an opinion with
respect to business loss claim;
(c) that a By-Law be prepared for application to the
Approving Authority for approval to expropriate
balance of lands. required for the Town Centre
Development as required by, the Development Agreement.
3. That meeting be arranged for December 11, 1979 with Mr. Peter
Pressey of Hyde Houghton to discuss the merit of change from
Computer Bureau Service to an in-house system.
4. That in the matter of appointment to fill vacancies on the
Planning Advisory Committee, that previous letters as well
as current applications be reviewed at the next meeting.
