Seconded by Councillor Lewis AND RESOLVED THAT:
1. This Report of the CAO, dated October 24th, regarding Trail Committee/Parkland
Trust Fundraising - Tillsonburg Golf Course Development, be received;
2. That a Community Trail Committee made up of 3 Town Representatives and 3
Golf Course Representatives be appointed pursuant to a Memorandum of
Understanding between the Town and Golf Course to make recommendations to
Council on the details of the project including the expenditures of funds from the
Park Land Trust as relates to a Public Trail System; and
3. That a public fund raising program be authorized for donations to the Park Land
Trust for the purpose of funding the development of a Public Trail System in
conjunction with the Tillsonburg Golf Course Expansion.

Seconded by Councillor Beres AND RESOLVED THAT Report 02007-40 from the
Director of Operations dated October 24, 2007 be received;
AND FURTHER THAT staff be directed to proceed with the oil well abandonment
program as per the Dillon Consulting cost estimate of $156,479, to be financed from
placing debt in 2008;
AND FURTHER THAT Council approve the quotation method process as per the
Procurement Policy.

Seconded by Councillor Lamb AND RESOLVED THAT the Deputy Mayor, with Council's
support, be authorized to undertake meetings, research and data gathering on the
Tillsonburg Municipal Airport, including preparation of a report back to Council on the
ways and means to develop a business case for the analysis, preparation and potential
expansion of the Airport lands, as per the Airport Master Plan. Discussions may include
stakeholders, County of Oxford, Province of Ontario, Government of Canada and
Tri -County businesses and residents, using the resources of existing committees such as
the Airport Advisory Committee and EDAC, with a preliminary report back to Council at its
first December meeting.
