2942 To amend Zoning By-Law Number 1994, as amended.THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG BY-LAW NUMBER 2942 A By -Law to amend Zoning By -Law Number 1994, as amended. WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg deems it advisable to amend By -Law Number 1994, as amended. THEREFORE, the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg, enacts as follows: 1. That Schedule "A" to By -Law Number 1994, as amended, is hereby amended by changing to "O" the zone symbol of the lands so designated "O" on Schedule "A" attached hereto. 2. This By -Law comes into force in accordance with Sections 34(21) and (30) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended. READ a first and second time this 24th day of July 2000. READ a third time and finally passed this 24th day of July of Administrative Officer / Clerk 2000. FORM 1 PLANNING ACT, 1990 NOTICE OF THE PASSING OF A ZONING BY-LAW BY THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg passed By-law No. 2942 on the 24th of July, 2000 under Section 34 of the PLANNING ACT, R. S.O. 1990. Chapter P.13. AND TAKE NOTICE that any person or agency may appeal to the Ontario Municipal Board in respect of the By-law by filing with the Clerk of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg not later than the 29th day of July, 2000, a notice of appeal setting out the objection to the By-law and the reasons in support of the objection. An explanation of the purpose and effect of the By-law, describing the lands to which the By-law applies, and a key map showing the location of the lands to which the By-law applies are attached. Reg. 920/90) ZON 7-278 TOWN OF TILLSONBURG BY-LAW NUMBER 2942 EXPLANATORY NOTE The purpose of By -Law Number 2942 is to rezone lands located in Part Lot 8, Concession 11 (formerly Township of Dereham), shown as Parts 1, 2 & 3 on Reference Plan 41 R-6679, in the Town of Tillsonburg from "Development (D)" to "Open Space (0)" to permit the use of the lands for the Tillsonburg Minor Soccer Club. The subject property will cover an area of 11.3 hectares (28 acres) and is being acquired by the Town. The subject property is currently owned by Andy Jacko Farms Limited. The Municipal Council, after conducting the public hearing necessary to consider any comments to the proposed change in zone designation, approved By -Law Number 2942 . The public hearing was held on July 24, 2000.
