3022 To approve the passing of By-Laws for acquiring or expropriation of lands required for the purposes of the Town of TillsonburgTHE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG BY-LAW NO. 3 02 WHEREAS Section 190 of the Municipal Act, RSO 1990 Chapter M.45 provides that Council of every corporation may pass by-laws for acquiring or expropriating any land required for the purposes of the Corporation. AND WHEREAS it is deemed necessary and expedient to acquire the parcel of land set out in Schedule "A" hereto for the purpose of parking and park development in the Town of Tillsonburg. THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg enacts as follows 1. THAT the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg is hereby authorized and instructed to apply, pursuant to The Expropriation Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended to the Approving Authority, being the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg, for approval to expropriate lands required for parking and park development more particularly described and set out in Schedule "A" hereto attached. 2. THAT Schedule "A" hereto attached is hereby declared to be a part of the By - Law, as if written and incorporated herein. 3. THAT the Administrator/Clerk of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg is hereby authorized and instructed to apply on behalf of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg to the Approving Authority for approval to expropriate lands as contained in this By -Law. READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME AND PASSED, SIGNED SEALED AND NUMBERED 3022 THIS 27T" DAY OF MAY 2002. SCHEDULE "A" TO BY-LAW NO. SCHEDULE of lands to be expropriated for the purpose of development of parking and/or park development. ALL AND SINGULAR that parcel or tract of land and premises situated, lying and being in the Town of Tillsonburg, in the County of Oxford and Province of Ontario, being composed of Parts of Lots set out in Column 1 below, such lot numbers being in accordance with plan number set out in Column 2 below as registered in the Registry Office for the Gegistry Division of Oxford (No. 41).
