A BY-LAW to levy an amount on a Public Hospital under Section
323 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended.
WHEREAS the Council of a local municipality designated by the
Lieutenant Governor in Council, in which there is situated a
public hospital or provincial mental health facility
designated by the Minister of Health, may pass by-laws to levy
an annual amount payable on or after the V_ day of July upon
such institution, not exceeding the sum of $75.00 a year for
each provincially rated bed in such public hospital or
provincial mental health facility as determined by the
Minister of Health.
AND WHEREAS the rated beds in the Tillsonburg District
Memorial Hospital has been determined to be 142.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Tillsonburg as follows:
1. THAT the amount of $10,650.00 be levied on the
Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital for the year
2003, payable on the 28TH day of November, 2003.
2. THIS by-law is passed pursuant to Chapter, M.25,
The Municipal Act, 2001 and amendments thereto.
