BY-LAW NUMBER 3160
A BY-LAW to appoint a Chief Building Official for the Town of Tillsonburg.
WHEREAS it is necessary and expedient to appoint a Chief Building Official for the Corporation
of the Town of Tillsonburg as a result of repealing By -Law 3149
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Tillsonburg as follows:
L THAT Mr. .Robert Allison, be hereby appointed Chief Building Official pursuant to
Section 3(2) of the Building Code Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter B.13.
2. THAT Mr. Allison is also appointed Property Standards Officer for the purpose of
administering the Town's Property Standards By -Law as amended from time to time.
3. That Mr. Allison is appointed Provincial Offenses Officer pursuant to the Provincial.
Offenses Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.33, for the purpose of enforcing Town of
Tillsonburg By -Laws and related Provincial Statues and Regulations.
4. Any previously enacted By -Laws that are inconsistent with the purpose and intent of the
By -Law are hereby repealed, specifically By -Law 3149 is hereby repealed.
5. THAT Mr. Doug Ferguson, be hereby appointed Deputy Chief Building Official pursuant
to Section 3(2) of the Building Code Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter B.13.
6. THAT Mr. Doug Ferguson is also appointed Deputy Property Standards Officer for the
purpose of administering the Town's Property Standards By -Law as amended from time to
time.
7. That Mr. Doug Ferguson is appointed Provincial Offenses Officer pursuant to the
Provincial Offenses Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.33, for the purpose of enforcing Town of
Tillsonburg By -Laws and related Provincial Statues and Regulations.
8. Any previously enacted By -Laws that are inconsistent with the purpose and intent of the
By -Law are hereby repealed, specifically By -Law 3149 is hereby repealed.
9. This By -Law shall come into full force and effect on the day of passing.
