BY-LAW NUMBER 3517
A BY-LAW to rename a Road Allowance within the Town of Tillsonburg.
WHEREAS Section 48 of the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, provides that a local municipality
may name or change the name of a private road after giving public notice of its intention to pass
the by-law.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg deems it necessary to change the name of
Rokeby Orchard Road.
NOW THEREFORE THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
TILLSONBURG ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the road name Rokeby Orchard Road be changed to Rokeby Side Road.
2. THAT this By-Law is passed pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2011 S.O. 2001, Chapter 48.
3. Any previously enacted By-Laws which are inconsistent with the purpose and intent of this
By-Law are hereby repealed.
4. This By-Law shall come into full force and effect on the day of passing.
