A BY-LAW to adopt the Debt Management Policy.
WHEREAS Section 270(1) of the Municipal Act, 2001 states that a municipality shall adopt
and maintain policies and such policies will be adopted to ensure that it is accountable to the
public for its actions, and shall be the manner in which the municipality will try to ensure that
its actions are transparent to the public.
WHEREAS the Council ofthe Corporation of the Town ofTillsonburg is desirous of adopting
the Debt Management Policy.
THEREFORE the Council of the Town ofTillsonburg enacts as follows:
1. THAT the Debt Management Policy attached hereto as "Schedule A" is hereby adopted and
forms part of this by-law.
2. AND THAT this by-law comes into full force and effect on the day of passing.
