4063 To appoint a Director of Finance and Treasurer for the Town of Tillsonburg - Dave RushtonTHE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG BY-LAW NUMBER 4063 A BY -LAW to appoint a Director of Finance and Treasurer for the Town of Tillson burg. WHEREAS section 286 (1) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. C 25 provides that a municipality shall appoint a treasurer who is responsible for handling all of the financial affairs of the municipality on behalf of and in the manner directed by the council of the municipality; AND WHEREAS The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg deems it is necessary and expedient to appoint a Director of Finance and Treasurer for the Corporation of the Town of Tillson burg; THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg enacts as follows: 1. THAT Dave Rushton is hereby appointed as Director of Finance and Treasurer for The Corporation of the Town of Tillson burg; 2. THAT this By-Law is passed pursuant to the Section 286 (1) of the Municipal Act, 2001 S.O. 2001, Chapter 25.; 3. This By-Law shall come into full force and effect on the day of passing.
