The Chair called the General session of the Board to order at 7:56 am.

10 Detachment Commander Reports
OPP contract Policing - Tillsonburg Inspector, Tim Clark presented the January 2016 contract statistics and memorandum which reported:
• 116 provincial offences tickets written
• 93.5 hours of Foot Patrol
Members of the OPP attended 482 calls for service with a 89.3%
clearance rate.
OPP contract Policing - Tillsonburg Inspector, Tim Clark presented the February 2016 contract statistics and memorandum which reported:
• 54 provincial offences tickets written
• 95.5 hours of Foot Patrol
Members of the OPP attended 403 calls for service with an 84.9% clearance rate. The most serious of these calls (January &
February) were Break and Enters – 1 & Mischief - 15.

Region Monthly Unit Summary for January and February 2016 which represents the following contract code locations:

• Engaged in conversation with parents, youth and staff
regarding youth issues.

• Warned youth for trespassing at Town Centre Mall
• Charged 2 youth with Trespassing at Glendale
• Assisted in locating possible marihuana (none found) as
well as a racoon on school property

Speed Spy Purchase On MOTION made by John Smith,
SECONDED by David Palmer and carried it was RESOLVED that the TPSB purchase
a Speed Spy with a purchase price of
$3531.61
Diamond Ring
On MOTION made by John Smith,
SECONDED by David Palmer and carried it was RESOLVED that the TPSB give
found Diamond Ring to the TDMH Volunteer Association
Fortification By-Law – This By-Law is currently at the Lawyers office
Project Lifesaver – Update – currently 3 people are using the service with a possible fourth
Winter Parking – there are designated areas that are exempt from the winter parking by-law

it was RESOLVED that the TPSB donate
$250.00 to the Jodi Bala fund
Inspector Clark to Region – Inspector Clark will be at Regional Headquarters for the next few months
