The Chair called the General session of the Board to order at 8:02 am.

The Minutes of a meeting of the Board held on June 21, 2017 were presented to the Board for approval.

10 Detachment Commander Reports
OPP contract Policing - Tillsonburg Inspector Hymers presented the June 2017 contract statistics and memorandum which reported:
• 55 provincial offences tickets written
• 72.75 hours of Foot Patrol
Members of the OPP attended 614 calls for service with a 92.6%
clearance rate.
OPP contract Policing - Tillsonburg Inspector Hymers presented the July 2017 contract statistics and memorandum which reported:
• 114 provincial offences tickets written
• 84.5 hours of Foot Patrol
Members of the OPP attended 831 calls for service with a 83.2% clearance rate. The most serious of these calls (June & July)
were Break and Enters – 8 & Mischief - 24.

Proactive Duties
• Patrolled interior, exterior, gullies and parks
surrounding Glendale High School.
• Foot patrol conducted when time permitted down town
Tillsonburg
• Engaged in several conversations with parents, youth
and staff regarding youth issues, seeking advice on
various topics of bullying, social media issues, family and
friend problems and legal questions.
Reactive Duties
• 3 Calls for service at Glendale
• Assisted front line officers with 3 calls
• 2 PON’s issued for January
• 1 By-law ticket
