MINUTES of the meeting of the Municipal Council of the Town of Tillsonburg held
Monday, November 6'h, 2000 at 8:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, Tillsonburg,
Ontario.

Report from the Director of Operations dated October 26th, 2000 be
received, and the recommendations contained therein be adopted and that
staff undertake a more thorough analysis of the Washington
Grand/Bidwell Street intersection, Ridout and Bidwell Streets, Rolph and
Ridout Streets, Maple Lane and Concession Street, and Baldwin and
Bidwell Streets, to include sight-lines and parking concerns.

Report dated October 51h, 2000 regarding electronic records management
and document imaging be received, and the recommendations contained
therein be adopted.

Police Services Board information be received;
AND FURTHER THAT the necessary by-law(s), to amend the current

oppose the movement of the caboose from the A&P parking lot to the
boulevard separating Bridge Street and Hale Street, west of the Old Train
Station between Bidwell and Rolph Streets, be received.

correspondence from Rosemarie C. Burt, dated October 24fu, 2000, with
respect to Valley View Lane, be referred to the Director of Operations for
possible inclusion in the new infrastructure program.

from the Annandale National Historic Site Advisory Committee dated
October 271h, 2000, with respect to the Official Town of Tillsonburg
Tourist Information Centre, be received and referred to the Director of
Community Services for review and report.

Seconded by Councillor Smith AND RESOLVED THAT the Town of
Tillsonburg accept the application and enter into an agreement with Donna
Rosenthal, owner of 20 Brock Street East, for a Fm;:ade Improvement Loan
in the amount of $7,582.00, at 2.5% interest to be repayed yearly in a like
manner as taxes over ten years.

of the Town ofTillsonburg support the Township ofNorfolk in its request
to the Ministry of Transportation for traffic control signals at the
intersection of Highway 3 and Simcoe Street.

authorize staff to proceed with registering properties for tax sale having
arrears in excess of three years for occupied properties, two years for
vacant properties, and to collect outstanding business tax by retaining the
services of a bailiff.
