A. Adoption of Minutes

C. Adoption of Agenda

D. Reports and Discussion
1. Progress Report -IMC Consultants
David Free updated Committee on progress with IMC Consultants and
stated that the first Open House would be held on March 4, 1997 in
Tillsonburg on the Otter Valley Corridor and Trail.
2. Update -Surveying
Moved By Brenda Carroll
Seconded By Jim Heavenor:
'That the InterMunicipal Committee recommend to the respective
Councils payment of the invoices by Kim Husted Surveying Ltd., OLS,
for the surveying of the abandoned railway from Port Burwell to
Tillsonburg in the amount of $24,468.22, on a cost share basis.'
Carried.
3. Update -Pembina
David Free updated Committee on the work to date with Pembina and the
intent to have them share with the survey and start-up cost of the
surveying of the abandoned railway line. David Morris stated that the
ongoing maintenance and building costs of some of the structures could
also be negotiated with Pembina.
4. Update -Land Acquisition
David Free stated the land acquisition deal was closing as of 11 a.m.
today.
5. Two Party Agreement -Port Burwell & Tillsonburg
Committee discussed the public's perception of the InterMunicipal
Committee being a partnership between the public and private sectors.

'That the InterMunicipal Committee recommend the respective Councils
that the Clerk-Administrators begin discussions with Pembina to set
forth a land use commitment for a pipeline by agreement in keeping
with their commitment to assist with costs for initial planning of a
Otter Valley Utility Corridor and trail and a commitment to help with
longer development and maintenance costs for the Trail.'
Carried.
6. Letter -Township of Bayham
Received. Chair Leachman stated that Councillors of the Township of
Bayham should be invited to a future meeting of the Committee.
