MINUTES of the Experience Tillsonburg Homecoming '92 Committee
held Friday, July 31, 1992 at 9:30 A.M. in Council Chambers.
PRESENT: B. Carroll, W. Kleer, G. Chamberlain, B. Moody,
J. Whitmore, G. Found, J. Armstrong, L. Albright,
M. Sullivan
Action By:
1. Hydro
Will have to use power from stores cords to be
taped down. To check availability from merchants.
Street layout dependent on co-operation from merchants.
Exhibitors to provide own cords.
2. Down on the Farm
Unlikely to be able to move to Broadway. Suggest they
have some displays on Broadway to direct traffic there,
and Experience Tillsonburg has signs.
Weavers and spinners display opens on Saturday.
M. Sullivan concerned with the loss of parking and not
being in the area closed. Close Ridout Street. To be
from Brock St. north to northern part of entrance to
mall parking lot --allow parking on Broadway to that
point, then indicate NO EXIT.
-1st priority is to find out hydro situation for:
-Caramel corn -Value Centre
-Flossie the Clown -Off Broadway
-Belgian Waffles -Bennett's
-Mechanical Rides -Royal Bank
-Stage -Ron Tutt
There is concern with size of area for Black Bart.
May be able to shuffle cars around.

overnight.
J. Armstrong to contact W. VanSevenant re: Blue Star
building.
4. Tug O' War
M. Sullivan has rules --will allow any number of
entries. Need an M.C.
5. Other
The M.C. for Big Band --B. Carroll to look after.
J. Whitmore to have Lion's Club bring in stage and
set it up.
