920717 Experience Tburg MINEXPERIENCE TILLSONBURG HOMECOMING '92 COMMITTEE MINUTES MINUTES of the meeting held July 17th, 1992 at 9:30 A.M. in Council Chambers. PRESENT: P. Carroll, B. Carroll, A. Horvath, W. Vansevenant, G. Found, F. Brown, H. Keenliside, J. Armstrong, G. Oliver, W. Kleer, B. Arts 1. Kinsmen Participation P. Carroll confirmed that all licenses have been applied for. Use of the tent on Sunday is O.K. He still needs to contact H. Harley re: security. He will also try to contact a Honkytonk person. 2. Rotary Club Participation G. Oliver attended on behalf of the Rotary Club. He indicated that they will be donating $500. He will confirm their participation at the next meeting. 3. Classic Car Show W. Vansevenant advised that he is getting a good response --especially for Saturday. He will try to organize a "cruise" night for Friday. He asked if the media could assist with an ad or press release asking for owners of cars to contact him. It was suggested that he contact Blue Star Ford for storage Friday evening. F. Leadsom aircraft display CHAA flyover -August 21st and 22nd -display August 21st and 22nd Food Bank -display -admission to Big Band 5. Budget A tentative budget was presented. Revised budgets will be provided as required. 6. Media The media have provided schedules of advertising. CKOT will run an announcement stressing the home- coming aspect. B. Carroll will contact J.
