7 General Business and Reports
Memorial Park Signage
• Signs are allowed to be over the sidewalk. Need to
insure that the design will allow for the trackless
vehicles to operate
• Broadway and Lisgar Ave sign – to be placed on
the West side of Broadway. Sign will be more
visible than on the North East corner. Vote (6-0) in
favour of sign to be placed on the West side of
Broadway.
Tour of Tillsonburg Community Centre
• Committee members were taken on a tour of the
Community Centre’
• Discussion of way finding options for the facility
New Brochure
• Available for all members
8 Outstanding Business
Fence Signage
• R. Cox updated the committee on the fence
advertising signs.
• Signs not to be placed on the fence facing the
street or in green spaces such as Coronation park
• Information being gathered from other
municipalities
• LED Sign option being looked into

was MOVED that all
advertising signs face the
spectators of the ball
diamond being used.
Staff to look into preference
of sings being placed on the
inside or outside of the
outfield fence. Any safety
issues
Memorial Park Revitalization Project:
• R. Cox presented the Committee with a list of
interested individuals to form the sub-committee
• R. Cox to get more ideas with entrance designs.
Hope is to have this information by our next
meeting

Zvanitajs and CARRIED (6-0) it was MOVED that the
list presented be accepted.
Each organization will only have one vote regardless of
the number of organization
members at the table

Park
• Discussion on options
