Lynn Temoin, Rick Martin, Councillor Luciani and Mayor Stephen Molnar

The meeting was called to order at 10:00 a.m.

5. General Business and Reports
5.1. In Town Transit Update
5.1.1. Statistics
There was discussion about breaking down the Blue Line stats by bus stop
usage.
5.1.2. New Bus Route
There was discussion regarding accessibility at the proposed Sobeys bus
stop location. It was suggested that staff provide future planning information
near the Sobeys bus stop location for the next meeting.
It was suggested to include a stop at the library on the blue line and red line.
Staff noted that the route would need to be test driven to see if time would
allow for this.
There was concern regarding the left hand turn onto Broadway from
Glendale.
It was suggested to look into railway crossing signage on the bus.
5.1.3. Sidewalk Connectivity Project
There was discussion on access to viewing the Sidewalk Connectivity
Program.
Mayor Molnar left the meeting at 10:35 p.m.
5.2. Inter-community Transit Update
5.2.1. Statistics
There was discussion regarding Staff obtaining Employment density
information. Also discussed was servicing the Industrial area in Norfolk.
5.3. Advertising
5.3.1. Mayors Ride
Staff provided an update.

5.3.2. Town Mall Sign
It was suggested to add ‘see opposite side’ on the Town Mall Sign

It was suggested to add wording on the flyer regarding the new In-Town Bus
Route.
5.3.4. Bus Signage
It was suggested to check with the Town of Tillsonburg and BIA regarding
advertisement opportunities on the bus.
5.4. Vendor/Ticket/Brochure Update
5.5. Christmas Bus
There was discussion regarding Christmas bus dates. It was suggested to reach
out to local businesses about sponsorships. There was also discussion
regarding the Christmas bus wrap and a possible Christmas logo (Turtle Santa).

Railway Crossings
•“Buses and other public vehicles are required to stop at
railway crossings that are not protected by gates, signal
lights or a stop sign. School buses must stop at railway
crossings whether or not they are protected by gates or
signal lights. Watch for these buses and be prepared to
stop behind them. If you are approaching a railway
crossing with a stop sign, you must stop unless
otherwise directed by a flagman.”
