CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 9:04 a.m. by Robert Marsden.

ADOPTION OF MINUTES:
The minutes of May 1, 2014 were adopted as written. Moved by Brian Stephenson, seconded by Janet

MINUTES & BUSINESS ARISING OUT OF THE MINUTES:
1. Tree By-law: the by-law has been forwarded to Rick Cox for review.
2. Rolph Street Designation Update: Our proposal is going to Council on July 14. Council has requested that
a delegation from the H, B & C Committee make a presentation to Council justifying the request for
designation. The owner of the property will be served with a notice of intent to designate.
3. 1{pep Tillsonburg Beautiful upda e: Another very successful year. Despite the weather being cold and
damp, there was a turnout of over 100.
4. Alabastine Wilkinson Trust — deferred until fall meeting.
$. Home Hardware tree funding update — Charles reported that the application will not be available until
September.
6, Calendar update — Patti has scanned the pictures so they will be ready to forward to the printer when
chosen. John Armstrong is puffing the pictures in oder ; rued v rt 1_ ......... .. ...:.:r F :

7. Footprints in the Sand Plague — Jeff reported there has been a quote of approximately $2000 dependant on
the size of font and how many words and about 10 weeks wait.. He is attempting to contact the publisher for
permission to use the Canadian version of the pnF m
u, fU Bank "Friends of the Environment" grant —Charles reported that the application is not available until
9. Scattering Gardens — will be part of the Cemetery Master Plan being created,
10. Cemetery Sign — is now in process.
