The meeting was called to order at 4:10pm by Chair Christine Wade

March 1, 2022 Committee Minutes – No errors or omissions
4. Disclosures of Pecuniary Interest and the General Nature Thereof
No disclosures of pecuniary interest were declared
5. General Business and Reports
5.1. Tillsonburg 150 Events Review & Implementation
5.1.1. Kinsmen Contribution Discussion
Dane Willson and Ceric Tomico of the Tillsonburg Kinsmen Club were in
attendance
Discussion on the possible contributions of the Tillsonburg Kinsmen Club
Operate Beer Tent
Operate 2 food trucks within licensed area
Cover fence costs
Will cover 2 extra licensed security and have additional Kinsmen
Members roaming the area as additional protection
Dane Willson and Cedric Tomico left the Meeting at approximately 4:50pm.
Aleksandra Webber joined the meeting at approximately 4:51pm.
Committee members discussed and the general consensus was in favour of
the Kinsmen’s offered contributions. Following all requirements of the
Municipal Alcohol Policy.
Rosemary Dean joined the meeting at approximately 5:18pm.
Committee members continued discussions on Variety Show.
The Committee discussed whether the Time Capsule would be opened in 25
or 50 years. General consensus was in favour of 25 years Discussion on which
types of items to add/not to add to the time capsule. A resting place for the
capsule will need to be decided.

Discussion regarding advertising. There is a 2 week run on the Country Radio
Station.
Committee members discussed tasks which include
Newspaper/Radio advertising
Sponsorships
Speaking with BIA
Recruiting for Variety Show
Recruiting volunteers
Quotes for Canada Post inserts
