PRESENTATIONS
PUBLIC MEETINGS
DELEGATIONS
1. Trails Committee D
Mr. Pat Carroll appeared before Council, illustrating location and size of proposed trails,
as well as the associated costs, to be raised through fundraising and donations.
The Committee hopes to raise 1.1 million dollars in total, and significant contributions
have been received already, approximately $550,000. Mr. Carroll noted that the
Committee is trying not to close in on the naming opportunities at this point, but there are
bridges, trail heads, rocks, trees and tunnels. The larger the contribution, the larger the
naming opportunity.
Mr. Carroll discussed the timeframe for construction of the trail, and noted it's imperative
that they do portions of it immediately. He noted that there are adequate funds to proceed
with the project.
