Town staff reviewed the area and identified that this is a suitable location for an accessible parking stall. This location will also accommodate other businesses on the north side of Brock Street East. The parking space in green on the above aerial map is the location of the proposed accessible space. Regarding the request to add an accessible parking on the north side of Brock Street East for Tillsonburg Chiropractic and Wellness located at 10 Brock Street East. Staff did not have any concerns after reviewing the Downtown Parking and Accessibility Study, and observed that the entrance for Cat Alley to the east has a depressed curb that would allow wheel chairs the ability to gain access onto the sidewalk. Cat Alley is not a very busy alley and staff do not see it being a safety concern.
