BY-LAW 2025-009
A BY-LAW to authorize a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the
Tillsonburg District Craft Guild (operating as the Station Arts Centre) (TDCG) for
2025, 2026 and 2027.
WHEREAS Section 270(1) of the Municipal Act. 2001 states that a municipality shall
adopt and maintain policies with respect to the manner in which the municipality will try
to ensure that it is accountable to the public for its actions, and the manner in which the
municipality will try to ensure that its actions are transparent to the public;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg is desirous
of entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Tillsonburg District
Craft Guild (operating as the Station Arts Centre) (TDCG) for 2025, 2026 and 2027.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Tillsonburg as follows:
1. That the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Tillsonburg District Craft
Guild (operating as the Station Arts Centre) (TDCG) for 2025, 2026 and 2027,
attached hereto as "Schedule A" forms part of this by-law.
2. That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the MOU.
3. That this by-law shall come into force and take effect on the date it is passed.
READ A First, Second, Third and Final time and passed this 27th of January,
2025.
