Awareness
Media Relations:
- Randi (OPP) and Inspector Taylor (WPS) prepare media releases along with social media
posts for Oxford OPP and Woodstock PS. These are picked up by local media outlets.
- Shaylyn has resigned from WPS. Due to my increased workload, most days the phone at
WPS is call forwarded to NACC. This is part of the reason that our received tip
numbers are down.
- Should we plan monthly digital updates? Most of our tips come in from the web.
Posts could be similar but not limited to,
February - Black History Month. See printed document.
March – International Women’s Day
April – National Caregiver Day (1st Tuesday of month, could possibly do a post about
fraud), Earth day (22nd), Easter.
- Do we want to start posting Crime of the week?
Fundraising:
- January – Boston Pizza Event
- Discussion continues in regards to possible spring/summer events
