06-012 Long Service and Retirement Presentation EventTHE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG SECTION PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION SUBJECT LONG SERVICE & RETIREMENT PRESENTATION EVENT 1. An annual Wine and Cheese Party shall be sponsored by the municipality at which time presentations shall be made to all employees of the Corporation, its boards and commissions for long service, retirement and other awards and certificates which have come due during the preceding year in accordance with established policy. 2. The invitation list for this presentation party shall include: - all employees and spouses of the Corporation, its boards and commissions; - members of Council „ spouses or guests; - members of the Corporation's boards and commissions, their spouses or guests. 3. This event shall supercede the necessity for any other Corporation sponsorship of events honouring long service or retirement of its employees. THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG SECTION PERSONNEL SUBJECT LONG SERVICE RECOGNITION PAGE 1. Recognition of an employee's years of service shall be made by presentation of the following after completion of the number of years of service listed: Years of Service Completed 10 Years 15 Years 20 Years 25 Years 30 Years 35 Years Presentation Silver Pin Silver Pin Silver Pin Gold Pin and Gold Watch Gold Pin Gold Pin 2. Employees shall be encouraged to return any previously issued long service pins upon presentation of a current pin. THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG SECTION PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION SUBJECT RECOGNIZING RETIRING EMPLOYEE 1. A retiring employee shall be presented with the Town's standard plaque with clock with suitable engraving following completion of at least ten (10) years of honourable service to the municipality. 2. Presentation to a retiring employee with a shorter period of employment than as specified in Paragraph (1.) will be considered upon submission of circumstances to Personnel Committee by the Clerk -Administrator. THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG SECTION PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATION SUBJECT MEMORIAL FLOWERS /DONATIONS 1. Memorial flowers, up to a cost of �0 001 ha71 be sent by the Corporation in the event of a death of an employee of the Corporation, its boards and commissions, or such employee's spouse, offspring, parents or siblings. 2. Employee shall include a past, long service employee as well as past or current elected officials. 3. A memorial donation of equal value as specified in Paragraph (1.) may be substituted, if requested.
