"UCO Is owned and controlled
by the farmers who utilize its

Toronto, said the new plant,
which will Serve Elgin, Norfolk
and Oxford, has no prototype in
the country, thanks to the for-
ward thinking of UCO directors
when it came to design,
Work Started
The plant, 40,000 square feet
In area, is Scheduled for com-
pletion early in 11180. The con-
tractor, Gllvesy Construction,
Tillsonburg, has already begun
work on the project.
Some 25,000 tons of granular
fertilizers, some of it containing
Insecticides, can be produced by
the plant each year. Equipment
includes completely automatic
hatching machinery and Im-
proved bagging unite.
