TILLSONBURG — Demolition of a 68-
year-old overhead bridge here started
Wednesday as part of the reconstruction
of Broadway Street from Venison Street
to Washington Grand Avenue.
The project, to be finished by the end
of November, will cost about $790,000, 80
per cent of which will come from the fed-
eral government and the remainder from
town taxepayers. It will include removal
of the bridge, installation of storm drains
and construction of a new inter,;iion at,
Hale and Broadway streets. --4'
During construction there w;,l be no
parking on the south side of Concession
Street from Tillson Avenue to Broadway
and on sections of Bear and Bidwell
streets and Washington Grand Avenue.
