2179 To designate certain property as being of Architectural and/or Historical value or interest.THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG BY-LAW NO. A BY-LAW to designate certain property as being of Architectural and/or Historical value or interest. WHEREAS Section 29 of The Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 337 authorizes the Council of a municipality to enact by-laws to designate real property, including all buildings and structures thereon, to be of architectural or historic value or interest; and, WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg has caused to be served on the owners of the lands and premises listed in Schedule "A" attached hereto and upon jthe Ontario Heritage Foundation, Notice of Intention to so |designate the aforesaid real property and has caused such Notice of Intention to be published in the Tillsonburg News once for each of three consecutive weeks commencing the 19th day of June, 1981. WHEREAS no notice of objection to the proposed designation has been served on the Clerk of the municipality. BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg as follows: 1. The real properties more particularily described in Schedule "A" attached hereto are hereby designated as being of architectural and/or historical value or interest as specified in Schedule "A". 2. The Town's solicitor is hereby authorized to cause a copy of the by-law to be registered against the property described in Schedule "A" hereto in the Land Registry Office for Oxford (No. 41). 3. The Clerk is hereby authorized to cause a copy of this by-law to be served on the owners of the aforesaid properties and on the Ontario Heritage Foundation and to cause notice of the passing of the by-law to be published in the Tillsonburg News once for each of three consecutive weeks. 4. Schedule "A" of this by-law shall form part of this by-law and is hereby declared to be a part of this by-law as if written and incorporated herein.
