BY-LAW NUMBER 2945
A BY-LAW to repeal By -Law No. 2944
WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg previously passed By -Law No.
2944 to authorize the Sale of Certain Industrial Land owned by the Corporation of the
Town of Tillsonburg on the 24th day of July, 2000 to Oxford Packers Limited.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg deems it in the public
interest not to proceed with this sale.
AND WHEREAS the Offer of Purchase and Sale as attached as Schedule "A" to By -
Law No. 2944 has not been executed on behalf of the Corporation of the Town of
Tillsonburg and is therefore not in effect.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Tillsonburg as follows:
1. THAT the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg does hereby repeal By -Law No.
2944 being a By -Law to authorize the conveyance of lands known as Part Lot 2,
Concession 6 North of Talbot Road in the Town of Tillsonburg, County of Oxford
to Oxford Packers Limited.
2. THAT this By -Law shall come into full force and effect upon the date of
enactment.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME, PASSED, SIGNED, SEALED
AND NUMBERED 2945 THIS 28TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2000.
