BY-LAW NO. 2962
BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT MUNICIPAL
OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES FOR THE
TOWN OF TILLSONBURG
WHEREAS Section 73 and 207 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O., 1990 Chapter, M.45, as amended
permits municipalities to pass by-laws appointing officers and employees as may be necessary for
the purposes of the Corporation;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg deems it appropriate
to appoint Deputy Clerks for the purposes of the Corporation.
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
TILLSONBURG ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the officers and employees employed by the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg
under the following approved job descriptions be and are hereby appointed to act in the
capacity of Deputy Clerk provided in the Town of Tillsonburg and that all statutory duties
contained in the Revised Statutes of Ontario, R. S.O. associated with the position and the
approved job descriptions are to be fulfilled:
Office/Position
Manager of Customer Service
Community Development Coordinator
Records Management Coordinator
Council Coordinator
2. THAT all previously enacted Appointment By-laws appointing a Deputy Clerk enacted
by the Town of Tillsonburg are hereby rescinded.
3. THAT this by-law shall come into force and take effect on the day of passing.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME this 12th day of February, 2001.
READ A THIRD TIME and finally passed, this 12th day of February, 2001.
