BY-LAW NO, 3011
BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A
MUNICIPAL AUDITOR
WHEREAS Section 86 (1) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O., Chapter M.45, as amended
provides authority for municipalities to appoint a municipal auditor for a term not to
exceed five years.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg now deems
it necessary to appoint an Auditor for the fiscal year 2002.
THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF
TILLSONBURG ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT effective January 1, 2002, Douglas R.W. Slade, C.A., Public Accounting
Licence No. 11243 of the firm Millard, Rouse and Rosebrugh, Chartered
Accountants is hereby appointed as the Municipal Auditor for the Town of
Tillsonburg for the fiscal year 2002.
2. THAT the appointment shall be reviewed annually and this By-law shall be
amended or repealed accordingly.
3. THAT By-law 2057 is hereby repealed.
