BY-LAW NO. 3026
A By -Law to authorize the Mayor and Clerk to enter into an agreement on behalf of the
Town of Tillsonburg with Oxford County Board of Health with respect to Sewage
System Inspections.
WHEREAS Section 32.01 of the Building Code Act provides that agreements may be
entered into between municipalities and boards of health delegating the inspection of
sewage systems with a capacity of less than 10,000 litres per day
AND WHEREAS the Town of Tillsonburg has previously entered into such an
agreement with the Oxford County Board of Health by By -Law 2838 which has now
expired
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg is desirous of continuing these
previous arrangements for private sewage system inspections with the Oxford County
Board of Health.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Tillsonburg as follows:
1. THAT the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg does hereby authorize the Mayor
and Clerk to sign the agreement attached hereto as Schedule "A" to this By -Law
on behalf of the Town of Tillsonburg for the purpose of delegating to the Oxford
County Board of Health certain responsibilities under the Building Code Act.
2. THAT this By -Law shall come into full force and effect upon enactment.
