3054 To authorize the closing and conveyance of parts of an unopened road : allowance as shown on Registered Plan of Subdivision 41 M-171 :THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG BY-LAW NO. 3054 A By-law to authorize the closing and conveyance of parts of an unopened road allowance as shown on Registered Plan of Subdivision 41 M-171 WHEREAS it is necessary to close and convey a portion of Langrell Ave. shown as Part 2 on Reference Plan 41 R-7076 and Part 1 on Reference Plan 41 R-7147 to accommodate a proposed subdivision. AND WHEREAS pursuant to Section 34 of the Municipal Act S.O. 2001, a municipality may close a highway after giving Public Notice of its intention to pass such a By -Law. AND WHEREAS the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg has passed By -Law No. 3041 which regulates the requirements for giving Public Notice for the Town of Tillsonburg. AND WHEREAS NOTICE of the proposed closing and conveyance as detailed herein was given on April 2nd, 2003 as required by By -Law No. 3041. BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg as follows: 1. THAT those parts of Langrell Ave. shown as Part 2 on Reference Plan 41 R-7076 and Part 1 on Reference Plan 41R-7147 be closed and conveyed to the Developer or Developers of the adjacent lands subject to such terms and conditions as Council shall determine. 2. In consideration of the above, certain lands being part of lots 9, 10 and 41 of Plan of Subdivision 41 M-171 more particularly shown as Part 2 and 3 on Reference Plan 41 R-7147 shall be conveyed to the Town of Tillsonburg for future a future Road Allowance. 3. This By -Law shall come into full force and effect upon third and final reading. READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 24TH DAY OF MARCH 2003.
