BY-LAW NUMBER 3068
A By -Law to provide for advance votes to be held
prior to voting day.
WHEREAS Section 43.(1) of the Municipal Elections Act,
5.0. 1996 provides that a municipal council shall pass a
by-law establishing one or more dates for an advance vote,
and the hours during which voting places shall be open on
that date or dates;
NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN
OF TILLSONBURG ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. An advance vote shall be held on the 1St clay of
November, 2003 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and
8:00 p.m., at the Tillsonburg Customer Service
Centre.
2. A second advance vote shall be held on the 5th day of
November, 2003 between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and
8:00 p.m., at the Tillsonburg Customer Service
Centre.
THIS BY-LAW shall take effect upon enactment.
READ A FIRST, SECOND AND THIRD TIME, PASSED, SIGNED,
SEALED AND NUMBERED 3068 THIS 8th DAY OF September, 2003.
