3147 To amend Zoning By-Law Number 1994 - South side of Hwy #3, between Clearview Drive and John Pound RdTHE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG BY-LAW NUMBER 31417 A By -Law to amend Zoning By -Law Number 1994, as amended. WHEREAS the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg deems it advisable to amend By -Law Number 1994, as amended. THEREFORE, the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg, enacts as follows: 1. That Schedule "A" to By -Law Number 1994, as amended, is hereby amended by changing to M2-6 the zone symbol of the lands so designated M2-6 on Schedule "A" attached hereto. 2. That Section 15.3 to By -Law Number 1994, as amended, is hereby amended by adding the following subsection at the end thereof: 15.3.5 LOCATION: SOUTH SIDE OF HIGHWAY #3, BETWEEN CLEARVIEW DRIVE AND JOHN POUND ROAD, (.Pt. Lot 3, Con. 5 N.T.R. (former Twp of Middleton),, M2-6 15.3.5.1 Notwithstanding any provision of By -Law Number 1994 to the contrary, no person shall within any M2-6 Zone use any lot, or erect, alter or use any building or structure for any purpose except the following: all uses permitted in Section 15.1.2 to this By -Law; and a public garage and accessory motor vehicle sales. 15.3.5.2. Notwithstanding any provision of By -Law Number 1994 to the contrary, no person shall within any M2-6 Zone shall use any lot, or erect, alter or use any building or structure except in accordance with the following provisions: 15.3.5.2.1 That all other provisions of the M2 Zone in Section 15.2 to By -Law Number 1994, as amended, shall apply, and further that all other provisions of By - Law Number 1994, as amended, that are consistent with the provisions herein contained shall continue to apply "mutatis mutandis". The amendment would allow for the addition of a motor vehicle sales establishment accessory to a pubic garage to the list of permitted industrial uses. The subject property is owned by Brandon's Used Cars. The Municipal Council, after conducting the public hearing necessary to consider any comments to the proposed change in zone designation, approved, By -Law Number.3PY7. The public hearing was held on February 28th, 2005.
