BY-LAW NO. 3157
A BY—LAW to open part of Fairview Street and to open
Part of Langrell Avenue and close part of Langrell Avenue.
WHEREAS it is deemed necessary and expedient to open part of Fairview Street being Part 2 on
Reference Plan 41 R-7147.
AND WHEREAS it is deemed necessary and expedient to open part of Langrell Avenue being
Part 3 on Reference Plan 41R-7147.
AND WHEREAS it is deemed necessary and expedient to close part of Langrell Avenue being
Part 1 on Reference Plan 41 R-7147 in the Town of Tillsonburg.
AND WHEREAS the effect of this by-law will not deprive any person of means of ingress and
egress to and from his/her lands.
AND WHEREAS by virtue of Section 34 (1)of The Municipal Act, 2001 S.U. 2001, Chapter 251
this Corporation is empowered to close road allowances.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of the Town .of
Tillsonburg as follows:
1. THAT Part 2 on Reference Plan 41 R-7147 is hereby dedicated and established as part of
Fairview Street.
2. THAT Part 3 on Reference Plan 41R-7147 is hereby dedicated and established as part of
Langrell Avenue.
3. THAT the Part of Langrell Avenue being Part 1 on Reference Plan 41R-7147 is hereby
closed.
2. THIS by-law shall take effect on registration hereof in the Registry Division for the
County of Oxford (No. 41).
3. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all necessary documents to
implement such road opening and closing.
