BY-LAW NO. 3158
A BY-LAW to open up and establish part of Bridge Street and to close part of Bridge Street.
WHEREAS it is deemed necessary and expedient to open up and establish part of Bridge Street
being Parts 4, 5, 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18 and 19 on Reference Plan 41 R-7347.
AND WHEREAS it is deemed necessary and expedient to close part of Bridge Street being Part
1 on Reference Plan 41R-2249 as established by By-law 2083 in the Town of Tillsonburg.
AND WHEREAS the effect of this by-law will not deprive any person of means of ingress and
egress to and from his lands.
AND WHEREAS by virtue of Section 34 (1)of The Municipal Act, 2001 S.O. 2001, Chapter 25,
this Corporation is empowered to close road allowances.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Tillsonburg as follows:
1. THAT Parts 4, 51 9, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18 and 19 on Reference Plan 41R-7347 is hereby
dedicated and established as part of Bridge Street.
2. THAT the part of Bridge Street being Part 1 on Reference Plan 41 R-2249 is hereby closed.
3. THIS by-law shall take effect on registration hereof in the Registry Division for the
County of Oxford (No. 41).
4. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all necessary documents to
implement such road opening and closing.
