A BY-LAW to provide for advance votes to be held prior to voting day.
WHEREAS Section 43: (1) of the Municipal Elections Act, S.O. 1996; provides that a
municipal council shall pass a by-law establishing one or more dates for an advance vote, and the
hours during which voting places shall be open on that date or dates;
THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg enacts as follows:
1. THAT An advance vote shall be held on 6th day of November from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
at the Customer Service Centre
2. THAT An advance vote shall be held on the 7th day of November from 10:00 am to 5:00
pm at the Customer Service Centre
3. THAT An advance vote shall be held on the 81h day of November from 10:00 am to 5:00
am at the Special Events Centre;
4. THAT An advance vote shall be held on the 9th day of November from 10:00 am to 5:00
pin at the Hickory Hills Recreation Centre;
5. THAT An advance vote shall be held on the l Oth day of November from 10:00 am to 5:00
pin at the Customer Service Centre;
6. THAT An advance vote shall be held on the 11 th day of November from 10:00 am to 5:00
pin at the Customer Service Centre;
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 11th DAY OF September, 2006.
READ A THIRD AND FINAL TIME AND PASSED THIS 1 lth DAY OF September, 2006.
