A BY-LAW to establish reduced voting times in certain locations.
WHEREAS Section 46. (2) of the Municipal Elections Act, S. 0 .
1996 provides that a municipal council may pass a by-law
providing that specified voting places shall be open on voting
day at a specified time before 10:00 a.m.;
WHEREAS Section 46.(3) of the aforesaid Act provides that a
municipal council may pass a by-law with respect to reduced
voting hours in voting places in retirement homes or those
institutions as def fined in Section 45. (7) of the said Act, where
the voting place is only for the use of the residents;
THEREFORE the following locations and tunes voting will be held:
Maple Manor Nursing Home, 73 Bidwell Street, between 10:00
A.M. to 11:00 A.M., November 13, 2006.
Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, 167 Rolph Street,
between 11:30 A.M. and 12:30 P.M., November 13, 2006.
Woodingford Lodge (Tillsonburg), between 1:30 P.M. and 2:30
P.M., November 13, 2006.
Tillsonburg Retirement Centre, 183 Rolph Street, 3:00 P.M.
and 4:00 P.M., November 13, 2006.
31 Maple Lane between 4:30 P.M. and 5:30 P.M., November 13,
2006.
53 Queen Street between 6:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M., November
13, 2006.
