BY-LAW NO. 3336
A BY-LAW t=o appoint members to various Boards and Committees.
WHEREAS it is necessary and expedient to appoint more members to be
responsible for Llie functions of the various Boards and Committees of the
Town. of Tillsonburg.
AND WHEREAS Council previously appointed members to Boards and Commissions
in By-law 2964;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Municipal Council for the Town of Tillsonburg
as follows:
ThAT the persons named in Schedule "A" attached hereto are hereby
appointed and shall be added to the respective Board or Committee
opposite their name for a term of appointment which shall expire as
set out in Schedule "A" or until such time as their replacement has
been named.
2. THAT all members appointed hereby shall hold office at the pleasure of
Council and the provisions of The Municipal Conflict of Interest,
R.S.O. 1990, Chapter M.-,'50 and amendments thereto shall apply.
3. THAT the Mayor and Deputy Mayor shall be Ex -Officio members of all
Boards and Committees of the Town of Tillsonburg, except as otherwise
provided herein.
4. THAT the term of service of a member appointed to any Board or
Conu-c,dtLee shall be limited to not more than six consecutive years on
any one Board or Committee provided, however, that Council- may re-
appoint a member or members if, in the opinion of Council, such re-
appointment would be beneficial for continuity of the Board's or
Committeea(.-.1,Livity.
5. THAT Schedule "A" attached hereto is hereby declared to be a part of
this by-law as if written and incorporated herein.
6. BY-LAW number 3336 of the Town of Tillsonburg is hereby amended.
