BY-LAW NUMBER 3337
A BY-LAW to provide for the acquisition of: Part of Lot 2, Concession 5, North of Talbot Road,
in the Town of Tillsonburg, (formerly in the Geographic Township of Middleton, County of
Norfolk), in the County of Oxford, being approximately 1.01 acres and being all of PIN 00038-
0023.
WHEREAS pursuant to section #9 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, C. 25, a municipality
has the capacity, rights, powers and privileges of a natural person for the purpose of exercising
its authority under this or any other Act;
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg requires the conveyance
of certain lands for general municipal purposes;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg enacts as
follows:
1. THAT the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg acquire from Cheryl Marie HAZEN,
all and singular that certain parcel or tract of land and premises situate, lying and being:
Part Lot 2, Concession 5, North of Talbot Road, in the Town of Tillsonburg (formerly in
the Geographic Township of Middleton, County of Norfolk), in the County of Oxford,
being approximately 1.01 acres and being all of PIN 0003 8-0023 for a purchase price of
TWO -HUNDRED & FIFTEEN THOUSAND ($215,000.00) DOLLARS;
2. THAT the Mayor and Clerk be hereby authorized and instructed to perform all acts and
to take such steps and execute such documents under the seal of the Corporation as may
be necessary to effect such acquisition;
3. THIS by-law shall come into force and take effect on September 29, 2008.
