THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF TILLSONBURG
A BY-LAW to provide for the acquisition of:
Lot 1491, Plan #500, in the Town of Tillsonburg, in the
County of Oxford. municipally known as 432 Baldwin Street,
Tillsonburg_ Ontario.
WHEREAS pursuant to Section #9 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, C. 25,
a municipality has the capacity, rights, powers and privileges of a natural person for the
purpose of exercising its authority under this or any other Act;
WHEREAS the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg requires
the conveyance of certain lands for general municipal purposes;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of The Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
That The Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg acquire from Richard Walter
E PPLE & Susan Jean EPPLL', all and singular that certain parcel or tract of land
and premises situate, lying and being:
Lot 1491, Plan #500, in the Town of Tillsonburg, in the
County of Oxford, municipally known as #32 Baldwin Street,
Tillsonburg, Ontario,
for a purchase price of ONE HUNDRED & TWENTY-FOUR THOUSAND
($124,000.00) DOLLARS.
2. That the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and instructed to perform all acts
and to take such steps and execute such documents under the seal of the
Corporation as may be necessary to effect such acquisition.
3. This By -Law shall come into force and take effect immediately after the final
passing hereof.
