BY-LAW NO. 3402
A BY—LAW to close part of Bidwell Street.
WHEREAS it is deemed necessary and expedient to close part of Bidwell Street, Plan 500,
being the Southerly Portion of Bidwell Street commencing from where the road meets John
Pound Road to 95 metres to the West of the intersection with John Pound Road in the Town of
Tillsonburg.
AND WHEREAS the effect of this by-law will not deprive any person of means of ingress and
egress to and from his/her lands.
AND WHEREAS by virtue of Section 34 (1)of The Municipal Act, 2001 S.O. 2001, Chapter 25,
this Corporation is empowered to close road allowances.
AND WHEREAS the provisions of Notice By-law 3 041 were followed in advertising the
potential closing of this part of Bidwell Street.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Tillsonburg as follows:
1. THAT Part of Bidwell Street, Plan 500, being the Southerly Portion commencing from
where the road meets John Pound Road to 95 metres to the West of the intersection with
John Pound Road in the Town of Tillsonburg is hereby closed.
2. THIS by-law shall take effect on registration hereof in the Registry Division for the
County of Oxford (Nn. 41).
3. THAT the Mayer and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all necessary documents to
implement such road opening and closing.
