BY-LAW NO. 3538
A BY-LAW to close a Municipal Road Allowance known as Wilcox Street.
WHEREAS it is deemed necessary and expedient to close Wilcox Street, Plan 714,
the Town of Tillsonburg, County of Oxford.
AND WHEREAS the effect of this by-law will not deprive any person of means of
ingress and egress to and from his/her lands.
AND WHEREAS by virtue of Section 34 (I) of The Municipal Act, 2001 S.O. 2001,
Chapter 25, the Corporation is empowered to close road allowances.
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED by the Council of the Corporation of the
Town of Tillsonburg as follows:
1. THAT Wilcox Street, Plan 714, in the Town of Tillsonburg, County of Oxford,
as shown on Schedule "A" attached, is hereby closed.
2. THIS by-law shall take effect on registration hereof in the Registry
Division for the County of Oxford (No. 41).
3. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all necessary
documents to implement such road closing.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 12th DAY OF September, 2010.
READ A THIRD AND FINAL TIME AND PASSED THIS 26th DAY OF September, 2010.
