BY-LAW NUMBER 3563
A BY-LAW to amend Bylaw 3509, to Define the Mandate, Membership, And
Meeting Procedures For Committees Established by The Corporation Of The
Town of Tillsonburg.
WHEREAS The Town of Tillsonburg is desirous of amending Bylaw 3509,
WHEREAS there is a need to fill a number of vacancies which have occurred on
Town Committees,
WHEREAS the Public Libraries Act 1990 Sec. 10(3) states that A board member
shall hold office for a term concurrent with the term of the appointing council
THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Tillsonburg enacts as follows:
1. THAT Schedule A attached hereto forms part of this by-law;
2. THAT the persons listed in Schedule A are hereby appointed to various
Committees of Council as indicated in the schedule;
3. THAT all members currently serving on the Tillsonburg Library Board shall
serve a term concurrent with the term of Council, in accordance with the
Public Libraries Act 1990 Sec. (10)3;
4. AND THAT this bylaw shall come into full effect on its day of passing.
READ A FIRST AND SECOND TIME THIS 28th DAY OF November 2011.
