BY-LAW NO. 3589
A BY-LAW to amend Bylaw 3509, to Define the Mandate, Membership, and
Meeting Procedures for Committees Established by The Corporation Of The
Town of Tillsonburg.
WHEREAS The Town of Tillsonburg is desirous of amending Bylaw 3509,
AND WHEREAS there is a need to fill vacancies which have occurred on Boards and
Committees,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of The Corporation of the
Town of Tillsonburg enacts as follows:
1. THAT Schedule C to Bylaw 3509 be amended as follows:
Committee
Library Board
Members of Council
Appointed______
Members of Public
Richard (Rick) W. Saxby
Remove: Jeff Wies
Development Committee Councillor Mel Getty
Remove: Deputy Mayor
Renaud
THAT all members appointed above shall hold office at the pleasure of Council for the
remainder of the current Council term, and the provisions of The Municipal Conflict of
Interest Act, RSO. 1990, Chapter M.50 and amendments thereto shall apply.
THAT the term of service of a member appointed to this Board/Committee shall be
limited to the current term of Council, except when the effect of this clause would result
in a change of two-thirds or more of the members in any one year.
