BY-LAW NUMBER 3432
A BY-LAW to appoint a Deputy Chief Building Official for the Town of
Tillsonburg.
WHEREAS it is necessary and expedient to appoint a Deputy Chief Building
Official for the Corporation of the Town of Tillsonburg;
AND WHEREAS section 77 of the Legislation Act, 2006, S.O. 2006, c. 21, Schedule F,
provides for the appointment of Deputy Chief Building Officials and Inspectors;
BE IT THEREFORE ENACTE=D by the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Tillsonburg as follows;
1. THAT, Emily Xuereb be hereby appointed Deputy Chief Building Official pursuant
to Section 77 of the Legislation Act, 2006, S.O.2006, c. 21, Schedule F.
2. THAT Emily Xuereb is also appointed Property Standards Officer for the purpose of
administering the Town's Property Standards By-law as amended from time to time;
3. THAT' Emily Xuereb is appointed Provincial Offences Officer pursuant to the
Provincial Offences Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P. 33 for the purpose of enforcing the
Town of Tillsonburg By-laws and related Provincial Statutes and Regulations;
4. ANY previously enacted By -Laws that are inconsistent with the purpose and intent of
the By-law are hereby repealed,
5. THIS by-law shall come into full force and effect on June 28, 2010.
