On motion made by Chris Roseheart, seconded by Greg Horvath, and carried, the Agenda was approved. 5 Approval of Previous Minutes The Minutes of a meeting of the Board held on June 21, 2017 were presented to the Board for approval. On motion made by Greg Horvath, seconded by Chris Rosehart and carried the Minutes of the meeting held on August 16, 2017 were approved. 6 Issues Arising from previous minutes None 7 Presentations / Delegations None 8 Correspondence None 9 Financial 2 AGENDA ITEM DISCUSSION OUTCOME/ACTION 10 Detachment Commander Reports  OPP contract Policing - Tillsonburg Inspector Hymers presented the June 2017 contract statistics and memorandum which reported: • 55 provincial offences tickets written • 72.75 hours of Foot Patrol Members of the OPP attended 614 calls for service with a 92.6% clearance rate.  OPP contract Policing - Tillsonburg Inspector Hymers presented the July 2017 contract statistics and memorandum which reported: • 114 provincial offences tickets written • 84.5 hours of Foot Patrol Members of the OPP attended 831 calls for service with a 83.2% clearance rate. The most serious of these calls (June & July) were Break and Enters – 8 & Mischief - 24.  Inspector Hymers presented the Tickets Written in Tillsonburg for the months of June 2017 report: • Speeding, 39 • Fail to Stop, 11 • Plate/Permit/Insurance, 31 • Trespass/Intox in Public, 14 • Careless, 1 • Seatbelt, 1 • Hand Held Device, 5 • Fail to Yield / Improper turn, 7 • Other, 5 Total for June 2017, 114  Inspector Hymers presented the Tickets Written in Tillsonburg for the months of July 2017 report: • Speeding, 11 • Fail to Stop, 5 • Plate/Permit/Insurance, 13 • Trespass/Intox in Public, 8 • Careless, 1 • Seatbelt, 1 • Hand Held Device, 1 • Fail to Yield / Improper turn, 8 • Other, 8 Total for July2017 , 55 3 AGENDA ITEM DISCUSSION OUTCOME/ACTION 10 cont’d  Inspector Hymers presented the Drug Enforcement Unit Statistics for June & July 2017.  Inspector Hymers presented the OPP Auxiliary Monthly Unit Summary for June & July 2017 • Total Hours within Tillsonburg for June, 142.50./ 117.50 for July  Crime Stoppers of Oxford Inc. Report Inspector Hymers presented the report for Oxford Crime Stoppers for June & July 2017. Fundraising • Golf Tournament is set for September 14th 2017 at Ingersoll Golf Course • Preparations are commencing for Annual Gala for October 2017 Upcoming Events: • Woodstock Street Fest August 10th -12th 2017 • Woodstock Cowapolooza August 18th-19th 2017  Haldimand Norfolk Crime Stoppers: Monthly report distributed for Board information (June & July)  Inspector Hymers presented the High School Resource Officer Month End Report for June 2017 Proactive Duties • Patrolled interior, exterior, gullies and parks surrounding Glendale High School. • Foot patrol conducted when time permitted down town Tillsonburg • Engaged in several conversations with parents, youth and staff regarding youth issues, seeking advice on various topics of bullying, social media issues, family and friend problems and legal questions. Reactive Duties • 3 Calls for service at Glendale • Assisted front line officers with 3 calls • 2 PON’s issued for January • 1 By-law ticket Presentations / Meetings: • Crime Stoppers Meeting in Woodstock • Attended Oxford Suicide Prevention Team meeting • Attended Crime Stoppers Conference in Kitchener • Block Training • Cops for Kids year end event at the Fusion Centre in Ingersoll 5 AGENDA ITEM DISCUSSION OUTCOME/ACTION 11 Committee Reports None 12 OAPSB  Zone 4 Meeting September 12, 2017 – Meeting in Brantford 13 Other Business / Public Discussion  Visitor Parking Lot Has been added to the 2018 Budget. Update from K. Deleebeck.  Emergency Shelter Further discuss at September meeting  Marijuana Dispensary By-Law Chair L.
